I made this piece to practice working with light and different materials.  I used the digital drawing program Sketchbook to create it.

Inspiration:

I wanted to emulate the visual and emotional style of the Romantic era.  To capture the metallic surfaces, I used high contrast highlights and shadows.

I also aimed to capture more emotion in this piece, namely in the posing and composition.
